About this policy
This policy explains how OMQ Auto Parts Hub Ltd ("we", "us") collects, uses, stores and protects your personal data when you visit omq-wingmirrorparts.co.uk or place an order. It is written to meet the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Who we are

What information we collect
- Order details: name, delivery and billing addresses, phone, email, vehicle details you give us, and the items you buy.
- Account details: if you create an account, your email and a securely hashed password.
- Payment: card and PayPal payments are handled by Stripe and PayPal. We never see or store your full card number.
- Site usage: pages visited, device and browser type and similar data, collected by Google Analytics and Google Ads only if you accept those cookies.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
- To take and deliver your order, handle returns and refunds: performance of our contract with you.
- To keep tax and accounting records: legal obligation.
- To prevent fraud and keep the site secure: our legitimate interests.
- Analytics and advertising cookies: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
Cookies, analytics and advertising
Strictly necessary cookies keep your basket, sign-in and checkout working and are always on. Everything else is off until you choose otherwise in our cookie banner, and you can change your choice at any time via "Cookie settings" in the footer.
- Analytics (Google Analytics 4): helps us understand which pages work. Data is kept for 14 months.
- Marketing (Google Ads): measures whether our Google adverts lead to orders, and lets us show you relevant adverts for parts you viewed ("remarketing"). If you accept, and you place an order, a scrambled (hashed) version of your email address and phone number may be sent to Google to match the order to an advert click. Google cannot read the original values.
We use Google Tag Manager to load these tools. Google's own use of data is described at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. You can also control Google ad personalisation at adssettings.google.com.
Who we share it with
We only share what each provider needs to do its job for us:
- Stripe and PayPal (payments)
- Our couriers and our order-management system, Veeqo (delivery)
- Brevo (order and account emails)
- Ideal Postcodes (address lookup at checkout)
- Google (analytics and advertising, only with your consent)
- Our hosting and backup providers (IONOS and Cloudflare)
Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, they use safeguards approved under UK law, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.
How long we keep your data
Order and invoice records: 6 years, for HMRC. Account details: until you ask us to delete your account. Analytics data: 14 months.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, delete, restrict or export your personal data, and object to how we use it. Email sales@omq-wingmirrorparts.co.uk and we will reply within one month. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
